Frank
Wisner (U.S.)
Frank Wisner is the Vice Chairman for External Affairs of the American International Group and a member of the Group’s Board of Directors. A diplomat since 1961 when he graduated with a B.A. from Princeton University, he holds the highest U.S. Foreign Service rank of Career Ambassador. He has been U.S. Ambassador to Zambia, the Philippines, Egypt, and India, and has served as Under Secretary of Defense for Policy and Under Secretary of State for International Security Affairs. Frank Wisner currently sits on the boards of directors of numerous international business councils, private companies, and non-profit institutions.
