Founder and Director, Mustapha Tlili moderated a panel discussion at a conference on Islam in Ufa, Russia, March 24–26, 2011

NYU Center for Dialogues Founder and Director Mustapha Tlili moderated a panel discussion on “Islam and the West: What Lessons for Russia?” at a conference on “Russia and the Islamic World: the history and prospect of the civilizations’ cooperation.” The panel featured Boris Dolgov, PhD., (Russia); Kenizé Mourad de Kotwara, writer and journalist on Muslim world affairs (France); Philippe Alfonsi, television personality (France); and Michael Kemper, Professor and Chair of Eastern European Studies, University of Amsterdam (The Netherlands).

The conference was organized by the Presidential administration of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Ufa, Russia March 24–26, 2011.
